The main challenge was ensuring a smooth and intuitive user experience for managing multiple pet profiles, while integrating real-time notifications for important reminders like medical treatments and grooming. Another significant hurdle was creating a feature that allowed pet owners to prioritize pets on the homepage, while maintaining efficient data synchronization across iOS and Android platforms using Firebase.

Despite the challenges, PetPal successfully delivers a powerful and user-friendly solution that simplifies pet care. With features like pet prioritization, automated reminders, and access to online vet consultations, the app has become an invaluable tool for pet owners.
